SystemSpecs Appoints New Divisional Heads

To maximise its potentials as Africa’s leading Fintech and software firm, SystemSpecs has appointed two heads to manage its divisions.

According to the Managing Director/CEO of the company, Mr John Obaro, the new development will enable SystemSpecs to deliver optimum values to its diverse customers that cut across governments, corporations, SMEs and individuals. “The new structure would also free our human capital for required career growth,” he declared.

Staffed with the human resource to achieve its objectives, SystemSpecs has confirmed the appointment of two key employees to the position of divisional heads, which include: Demola Igbalajobi, Public Sector and special projects as well as Ezinne Ibikile, Payment Gateway and Infrastructure initiatives.

Statement from the company informed that Igbalajobi, as head of Public Sector division and special unit would directly “supervise the widely celebrated Federal Government Treasury Single Account (TSA) project in Nigeria and the adoption of SystemSpecs’ solutions by governments at all levels”.

An accountant, Igbalajobi is a seasoned Project Delivery Executive with over 20 years’ multi-industry experience gained while working with blue chips to implement strategic, business-focused solutions that support their business goals and maximise the return on investments.

Before joining SystemSpecs, Igbalajobi had a long spell with IBM UK, managing software implementation and application development projects, implementing project best practices, setting up and managing programme management offices, and consulting on ERP implementation. He has multi-industry experience in business analysis, change management and programme management in the automotive, telecoms, finance, hospitality and manufacturing among others.

Prior to his new appointment, Igbalajobi was in charge of SystemSpecs’ Payment Gateway and Infrastructure initiative, a position that is now occupied by Ezinne Ibikile.

“Igbalajobi has been with SystemSpecs for over 10 years and has displayed leadership role in our public sector projects for this period, as his understanding and knowledge of the public service in relation to payment has contributed to the successful deployment of our Remita solution to Federal and state governments’ ministries, departments and agencies. He would give his best to the growth of the company,” Obaro said in a statement.

As the new head of SystemSpecs’ Payment Infrastructure and Gateway division, Ezinne has overall responsibility for the deployment of the company’s payment processing solutions and services to business across Africa.

A computer scientist, Ibikile is a seasoned Project Delivery Executive with over 15 years in multi-industry experience gained while working with different companies to create technology based solutions, implement strategic and business-focused solutions that support their business goals.

Earlier, Ibikile had spent 28 years and 11 months developing and implementing the First Bank’s transaction banking strategy, evaluating and enhancing transaction banking service offerings in trade and cash management, drive bank-wide growth in transaction volume and revenue in liaison with customer facing units.

“Ibikile would use her experience and exposure in the banking sector to drive SystemSpecs forward in the adoption of our payroll, resource solution suites and creation of infrastructure initiatives,” Obaro said.

She is an alumnus of University of Nigeria, and has a Master of Business Administration from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
